ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware is an anti-malware software package sold by ParetoLogic, Inc., a company based in Canada. It works in two ways to keep you safe from harm:
- Detect and remove any existing malware
- Protect your system from infection
For detection and removal, it examines objects in memory, files and folders, the registry, browser cookies and other places where spyware usually tries to hide. Upon detection you are offered with options for dealing with the culprits, such as removal or quarantine.
Once your system is clean, Anti-Spyware employs intelligent runtime diagnostics to prevent any new malware from infecting your system.
Continuous updates to the detection database ensures the software keeps up with the latest developments.
